An ultra-wideangle zoom lens, the AF Zoom-Nikkor 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5D IF-ED offers high-performance features in a compact body. In addition, it boasts the shortest closest-focusing distance in its class—0.33m throughout the entire zoom range. It is ideal for photojournalism and other general photographic needs.

This new lens also features ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass and aspherical lens elements in a new optical design for superior optical performance.
