Yes. Images saved in NEF format with Nikon Capture 4 can, in most cases, be opened with Nikon Capture 3.5.2.
However, images saved in compressed (lossless) NEF format with Nikon Capture 4,
and images saved in NEF format captured with the D2H cannot be opened with Nikon Capture 3.5.2.
In addition, the effects of any image adjustment functions unique to Nikon Capture 4 that are applied to an image will not be reflected when the image is opened in Nikon Capture 3.5.2.
Further, if these images are then saved in NEF format with Nikon Capture 3.5.2, the effects of the original Nikon Capture 4 Editor settings will be permanently lost.
