When Quick Response is selected in the SET-UP menu's Shutter Release Speed option with Review Only selected in Monitor Options>Display Mode (COOLPIX5000) or Review On selected in Monitor Options>Review Options (COOLPIX5700), shutter speed and aperture values are sometimes locked.

Ans :

When images are captured with the COOLPIX5700 and COOLPIX5000 (firmware version 1.7), the last image captured is displayed in the monitor (review display) for several seconds. If the shutter-release button is pressed halfway or completely while the previous image is displayed, focus and exposure settings for that image are locked and applied the next time an image is captured. Be aware that as priority is given to capturing the image, the built-in Speedlight and any additional Speedlights will not fire under these conditions.
