| Ans : | This feature can be used to adjust the degree of vignetting that occurs on the lens periphery for RAW images captured by a
D2H, D1-series or D100 camera fitted with a lens.
Vignette Control is particularly effective on images captured with a full aperture. Vignette Control is only effective on RAW ( NEF ) images. Lens information is saved with RAW ( NEF ) images shot with a D2H, D1X/D1H firmware version 1.10 or later, or a D100 camera equipped with lenses ( D-/G-type ) that produce a Nikon D-signal ( distance information ). This enables ideal adjustment for the lens used for the image. |
