| Ans : | Camera and lens requirements for recording Image Dust Off reference photo:
- Use the camera firmware version 1.10 or later, if you are using a D1X or D1H. Any firmware version can be used for the D100. - Use a CPU lens. - Recommend to use a lens with a focal length greater than 50mm. - Use an Image Quality setting of RAW. - Set Focus Mode to M ( manual ) and manually set to infinity. - Set the lens at its maximum zoom positionif you are using a zoom lens. - Apply the lowest sensitivity setting ( D1X: ISO 125, D1H and D100: ISO 200 ). - Set Exposure Mode to A ( Aperture Priority Auto ). - Set aperture to its minimum setting. Shooting an Image Dust Off reference photo: - With the camera lens 10 centimeters from a featureless white object, frame the object so that it fills the viewfinder and press the shutter-release ease button. |
