With the D2H, using the Image Dust Off feature in Nikon Capture 4 minimizes the effect of dust.
Furthermore, dust is less likely to negatively influence the shot because some space was set aside for between the image screen and the surface of the low-pass filter.
In addition, the design enables dust to be easily wiped off in the unlikely event it does affix itself.
