Q.No.4152: When image(s) are captured with speedlight, whitish dots appear on the image(s).
Ans : Invisible dusts exist in the air. For example, this can be seen in the light which comes out of a cinema projector in a cinema. Also when shooting with the camera, there are dusts in the air.
When shooting with the speedlight fired, dusts may reflect the light from the speedlight and may be seen on the image(s).
If dusts are closer to the camera, they are captured as the defocusing subjects and seen as whitish dots on the image(s).

This phenomenon may be avoided or eased by the followings:
- Shoot in a brighter condition and avoid using speedlight
- Shoot at a place where there are less dusts
- Shoot with the zoom position set as the telephoto position, not the wideangle position
