| Ans : | If any of the following procedures are performed under Windows XP, the shooting information shown superimposed on
images supporting the Exif standard may be damaged or file formats may be changed.
A thumbnail may also not be displayed in the thumbnail display. |
| 1. | Images are rotated from the Explorer with any of the following procedures: |
| - | An image file is selected and either of the rotation buttons pressed for rotation of the preview display. |
| - | An image file is selected and rotation in either direction selected from the right mouse-click menu. |
| - | An image file is selected, a preview display chosen from the right mouse-click menu, and then either rotation button at the bottom of the Windows image or Fax viewer window pressed. |
| 2. | With the Properties window displayed for a selected image file,
Basic mode is selected from the Overview panel and Apply or OK button is pressed.
(If the cancel button is pressed, the problem does not occur.) To correct the problems described above, please download the Windows XP Service Pack 1 to upgrade your version of Windows XP. |
