| Ans : | This problem is caused by the fact that file and folder numbering is not only recorded on the memory card, but also to the camera's internal memory.
Automatic file and folder numbering is performed by the D1X and D1H in the following manner: - When a memory card contains a file number larger than that recorded to the camera's internal memory, a new folder is created with a file number 1 larger than that recorded to the camera's internal memory. - When a memory card contains folders with file numbers lower than that recorded to the camera's internal memory, a new folder is not created, but rather new files are saved to an existing folder with a file number 1 larger than that recorded to the camera's internal memory. |
