Windows XP, Mac OS X: 128 MB or more (256 MB or more recommended)
Mac OS 9: Memory allocation as follows--32 MB or more is recommended for Nikon Capture 3 Camera Control, 128 MB or more is recommended for Nikon Capture 3 Editor.
Other OS: 64 MB or more recommended (128 MB or more recommended when working with RAW images)
