| Ans : | Installation of Nikon View 5 is only possible under Windows 98SE (Second Edition) or later.
Nikon View 5 cannot be installed under Windows 95. Images cannot be transferred from the camera to a computer via USB-cable connection even when a Windows 95 computer is equipped with a USB port. Windows 95 users can transfer images in the following manner: |
| 1. | PCs with a built-in PC card slot (notebook PC) can be used when the CF card is inserted in a PC
card adapter (for CF cards, available separately).
The CF card will be recognized as a new disk drive and displayed in My Computer when inserted into a notebook computer's PC card slot or a PC card reader connected to a desktop computer. Images can be viewed and transferred from this new drive. |
| 2. | If your computer does not have a PC card slot, use a card reader which supports CompactFlash cards (available separately). |
