The pixels are square. Total number of pixels are 3.34 million with the COOLPIX3100 and 2.11 million with the COOLPIX2100. The full-image size is 2,048 x 1536 pixels with the COOLPIX3100 and 1,600 x 1,200 pixels with the COOLPIX2100. Both models use a primary color filter. |
