| Q.No.3235: | What is Noise Reduction Mode? |
| Ans : | Because of the characteristics of the CCD, when the camera is set for long time exposure,
noise will appear (in the form of randomly spaced, brightly colored pixels).
To reduce this, a special process is applied when shooting in exposures longer than 1/4 sec. When this function is on, it takes twice the normal amount of time from the moment the shutter is released to when the data is recorded into the CF card. Noise Reduction mode functions automatically, and cannot be manually set. |
