| Q.No.3183: | What is Noise Reduction Mode? |
| Ans : | Because of the characteristics of the CCD, when the camera is set for long time exposure,
noise in the form of randomly spaced bright-colored pixels will appear.
To reduce this, a special process is applied when shooting in exposures longer than 1/4 sec. When this function is on, it takes twice the normal amount of time from the moment the shutter is released to when the data is recorded into the CF card. This feature is not available when you set the camera to AUTO mode. |
