Follow the steps below the adjust the brightness level of the COOLPIX5700's monitor.
*If the camera is set to User Set A, select User Set 1 from the SET-UP menu's User Setting option.

Push the menu button to display the SET-UP menu. |

Select Monitor Options from the SET-UP menu. |

Push the right arrow of the multi selector once to display a new list of monitor options. Use the up or down buttons of the multi selector to increase or decrease the brightness of the monitor. |

Once the desired level of brightness has been achieved, press the right arrow of the multi selector to activate the setting.
