The COOLPIX5700 supports German, English, French, Japanese, and Spanish language menus and messages.
Follow the steps below to change the language displayed to English from another language.

Change the mode selector to playback mode. |

Push the menu button to display the menu window. |

Once the menu page is displayed, push the left arrow of the multi selector once and then the down arrow once to display the SET-UP menu page. |

When the menu page is displayed, push the right arrow of the multi selector once to select the
Language option (last option) of the SET-UP menu.

When the right arrow of the multi selector is pushed, a new menu will open.
Use the multi selector to select the Japanese language option (second from the top and displayed as "En")
and push the right arrow of the multi selector to activate the option. |
