| Ans : | The raw output from the CCD is saved in NEF format without any image compression.
The image quality is maintained through editing. The file size is smaller than TIFF data in HI mode. When viewing an NEF file, use Nikon View 5, and use Nikon Capture 3 (optional) for editing. In PLAY mode, you can save or change the NEF data into TIFF format simply by assigning the file a new name. |
