Q.No.3002: An error message is displayed when installing the Mass Storage driver under Windows 98SE.
Ans 1. Be sure that the Easy Install option is displayed when installing the driver.
2. Once installation is complete, connect the camera to the PC and turn the camera ON.
3. Use the right mouse button to click on My Computer and select Properties.
Click the "Device Manager" tab.
4. Verify that question marks or exclamation marks are not displayed with the following:
Disk Drive > NIKON DSC E2500

7. When the "Welcome" window is displayed, select Custom Install, check ONLY the "Mass Storage Driver" option, and click Install (verify that all options other than "Mass Storage Driver" are NOT selected).
8. When the "Setup" window is displayed, click OK.
9. Click OK when the "Installation Complete" dialog is displayed.
10. When the dialog asking whether your computer should be restarted immediately is displayed, click Yes.
11. Once the computer has restarted, turn the camera ON.
Nikon View 5 will launch automatically.
