| Q.No.2709: | I can't figure out where images are stored after I've transferred them to my computer using Nikon View 4.
I want to choose a new location for storage (Windows). |
| Ans : | The default location for transferred images is the directory \Program Files\Nikon\NkView4\Images
on the system disk (usually drive C:).
When images are transferred, a folder is created and named according to the date and time of transfer; the images are stored in this folder. To change the destination for transferred images: |
| 1. | Connect the camera to the computer and turn the camera on. |
| 2. | Click the Preferences button in the Image Transfer window. |
| 3. | Open the Transfer tab and click the Change... button in the "Select destination" panel. |
| 4. | Navigate to the desired location in the Browse for Folder dialog and click OK.
Choose an easy-to-find location, such as "My Documents" or "My Pictures." |
| 5. | All subsequent images transferred to the computer will automatically be stored in the selected
folder until you choose a new destination or reinstall Nikon View 4.
If you selected "My Pictures," all subsequent images will be stored in "My Pictures." |
