| Ans : | If the Image Transfer dialog is not displayed even though the computer recognizes the device (click here to find out how to confirm whether the computer recognizes the camera), check that: |
| 1. | Nikon View 4 is installed. |
| 2. | The animated rectangular display appears in the control panel (COOLPIX 995). |
| 3. | The battery or batteries are charged and inserted in the camera. |
| 4. | The memory card is inserted in the camera. |
| 5. | There are images on the memory card. |
| 6. | Start Nikon View 4 manually and open the Preferences dialog.
If Disable auto start is selected in the "Auto start" tab, select Transfer tool (small window). Turn the camera off and on again. |
| 7. | Check that the USB cable is fully inserted in the computer's USB connector.
Try disconnecting and reinserting the cable. |
| 8. | Check that your computer is running a pre-installed version of Windows.
