Yes. The camera will record about 1.5 full-size frames a second at image quality settings of FINE, NORMAL, and BASIC.
The maximum number of photographs that can be recorded before the camera memory buffer fills depends on the image quality selected:
up to three photographs can be recorded at a setting of FINE, five at a setting of NORMAL, and ten at a setting of BASIC.
Additional shots can be taken as soon as the camera has finished transferring photographs from the buffer to the memory card.
