¥ Are you using a Nikon-approved CompactFlashTM card?
Check the make and capacity of your CompactFlashTM card.
¥ Turn your camera on with the CompactFlashTM card removed and check whether the error still appears.

1. If the error does not appear when the camera is turned on with the CompactFlash TM card removed, the card may be at fault.
Try using a different card.
If you don't have another card, format the card and try again.
Before formatting the card, back up any important data to a computer.
2. If a system error appears even when the card is removed, there may be a problem with the camera.
