Q.No.7: The batteries discharge extremely quickly.
AnsiChecklist j
¥ What kind of batteries are you using?
¥ How long have you been using them?

iSolutions j
¥ Manganese batteries can not be used.
Use another battery type, such as alkaline or Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH).
¥ In the case of alkaline batteries, battery life varies from make to make.
Try using a different make of alkaline battery.
¥ Check the date of manufacture for alkaline batteries.
The older the battery, the shorter the battery life.
Use new batteries.
¥ Use high-capacity, rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries if possible.
NiMH batteries have less internal resistance than alkaline batteries, and consequently are less likely to show a drop in voltage even when used for long periods.
They can also be charged and re-used from four hundred to five hundred times.
¥ While in most cases it is unlikely that the problem originates with the camera itself, if the problem persists after you have tried two different makes of battery, consult the Nikon Photo Products Inc Ohi Dept. ( TEL:(03)3773-2221, FAX:(03)3773-3646 )
